Israeli forces served seven people from the Bethlehem district with notices to appear before Israeli intelligence, according to a local security source.Forces stormed Dheisheh camp, located to the south of Bethlehem, WAFA reports, where they handed five people, including two teenagers, notices to appear for interrogation before the Israeli intelligence in ‘Gush Etzion’, a bloc of illegal Israeli settlements near Bethlehem.
Forces also stormed Beit Fajjar, where they handed two people aged 19 and 35 years notices to appear before intelligence after breaking into and searching their houses.
In another raid, on Saturday, the army seized five vehicles with Palestinian registration plates near Beit Ummar and Al-‘Arroub camp along Hebron-Jerusalem road, according to a local activist.
Spokesperson of the Anti-settlement Popular Committee in Beit Ummar Mohammad ‘Awad said that Israeli forces chased Palestinians’ vehicles along the Hebron-Jerusalem road and seized a vehicle belonging to ‘Abdalla Brigheith, 51, although he showed them all required licenses.
‘Awad added that Brigheith cultivates his land, which is not far from his house, and he transports agricultural tools and saplings in his car trunk.
Forces seized his vehicle and imposed a ILS 500 fine on him and ordered him to appear before an Israeli military court.
Meanwhile, forces also seized four other Palestinian vehicles in Al-‘Arroub camp.
